During the late 16th century, England rapidly colonized the freshly found Americas. Citizens were sent out to the eastern coast of magnetic north America in deuce regions. In the Chesapeake region, the English came to Jamestown to fuck off money, find gold, and obtain land. However, in New England, Puritans came to America broadly speaking for religious purposes. Although the New England and Chesapeake regions were originally colonized by in the first place English settlers, the two regions in time evolved into two intelligible societies. By 1700, their religious practices, family relations, and political differences led them in two different directions.
New England was a refuge for religious separatists passing England, while people who immigrated to the Chesapeake region had no religious motives.
