Constant exposure to the dental field helped fuel my desire to learn more virtually the various aspects of dentistry . My interest in the dental field grew from there and I later on , found myself care as many keep raising courses and training seminars link to the field . Some of the more notable seminars and educational courses I have attended are the Patient Communication periodontic Disease and Treatment Options , Anatomy of Teeth , Dental yield , including Sterilization Techniques , and seminars about products and supplies used in dentistryThanks to my drive for continued self education , I have been able to declare oneself in the dental hygiene department of our community health center . Every six months , I come in and assist by giving supererogatory dental care to the uninsured and unhopeful income children who reside in our community . Having dealt with the low income bracket of society , I have come to name and understand that just because these people are poor does not mean they are not human .

I larn that I should be highly sensitive and caring of their emotions and feelings because horizontal though they agree to accept free dental care , that does not mean that they want to be treated same paupers . The way I handle the patients on a face-to-face level can spell the difference between success full phase of the moony treating them and having them leave the clinic untreated . I always get a wonderful sense of accomplishment each time I successfully educate a child regarding the manners and splendour of dental hygiene . This is why I fully set to continue my volunteer work even after I have completed my degree Without people like me who work for free in the volunteer program just because I have the heart to do it , these children may not have a chance to get the necessary dental hygiene education and treatment they so badly needOver the next 5 years , I fully expect to gain my dental hygiene license and continue to educate myself with regards to the updated trends and techniques via continued education courses .
