Of late, a lot research has been done on the development of CNTS rein forced Al matrix composites. This matrix can be applied to many applications in aviation, automobile industry and Space flight. It has been open up that there is a maximal increase of tensile strength and elastic modulus of the 1.0% mass fraction nanotube/2024Al composite, compared with the 2024Almatrix are 35.7% and 41.3% respectively.
