WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE?
In 2004 a struggle author decided to invest her ruffianly earned dollars into
publishing her archetypal novel. Little did she know the pitfalls of the publishing-
industry. After investing her coin into the publication of her book through a
sign on demand- familiarity she was short changed to say the least. The book
sold well in the community, but not so well through the print on demand-
company. Frustrated and disappointed the author cancelled her engagement and
pulled the book from the public. It wasnt until 2009 that the author started her
own publishing company geared towards helping authors instead of ripping them
off. Yes, that author is too the writer of this paper.
After the disappointing experience of publishing my first book I
researched, for years, how to publish my own writings. Finally, in princely 2011, I
gathered together my board and began my mission.
That was the easy part, the
hard part was figuring out how to achieve it. Where do we start, what appliances
do we need, what software do we need, and most all important(p) where do we get the
money? All of these questions will be answered throughout the curse of this
paper, but first I suppose it would be a benefit to know more intimately the company to
set the stage for the rest of the paper. I recall this would make understanding
this paper much smoother than my jaunt in the publishing business.
