Temperature and pH
For our group my responsibilities included to take the temperature of the water supply system and to roll the pH value. To measure these, I used a thermometer and a simple pH strip runnel.
I predicted that the kitty temperature would be pretty cool, given that it is fall time in Wisconsin. I also predicted that the pH value would be slightly basic, because our pond isnt old enough to have a racy level of acidity and we are continually putting chemicals in it to keep it balanced and to keep it from getting too dirty.
First, I held an everyday thermometer in the water for about five proceedings to measure the temperature and it read to 14.3 degrees Celsius. According to my packet on temperature, this would secernate it as cool water, which I had correctly guessed.
