Being a Catholic has m any benefits whilst animate in Northern Ireland but it also has many negatives as well as! Today was the day that we, the Catholic club decided to confirm up to internment and march against this controversy. Therefore, at 2pm that is exactly what we did. Rumors were suffocative the air about this commendable event which led to us, the Catholics, march in our thousands with the dream that one day our grand-children will be able to live a normal stress allay life; well that was my dream, others desired war and violence to be the outcome for today.
The highly anticipated 14:00 finally came and for us Catholics living in Central Drive it was now except a waiting game for the rest of the Catholic community to march past us so we can spliff the protest. My mother, father and I were discussing the upcoming events of January the 30th but well-nigh of my attention was on the clock in anticipation for the agitate to come knocking at our door and so they did 50 minutes behind schedule. The demonstrate from the republic and Northern Ireland was in our eyesight and as we began to draw closer and closer, it came to my acknowledgment that the enemy were armed with baleful machinery and tear gas; others didnt see the same and when we were coming to the border they began running and taunting the paratroopers with gestures that I am incapable of writing.
